Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns can be the perfect solution for a variety of conditions that can make your smile look less than its best. Broken or cracked teeth; misaligned teeth; dull, discolored teeth; or, teeth that are too damaged to hold a traditional filling can all be corrected with a porcelain crown. A porcelain crown uses your underlying, natural tooth structure as the base for a custom-milled crown that is made to the exact specifications set by Dr. Whittle. Plus, with our CEREC technology, some crowns can even be made while you wait, allowing you to have a porcelain restoration in a single visit.

Some patients opt to have gold crowns instead of tooth-colored crowns. Gold (actually a gold alloy) is actually an excellent material for dental restorations. It is easily shaped and highly durable. Plus, it does not cause wear problems on your natural teeth when you speak or chew.
